our technology

Technology that changes your visit, not just our brochure.

Every machine on this page earns its place the same way: it changes something you actually feel — a scan instead of a tray of goop, a laser instead of a scalpel, a screen where you see what we see. Equipment that only impresses other dentists stays in the catalog.

And because there are 13 operatories with at least two full-time doctors in the building, Monday through Friday, the technology isn't a bottleneck — it's how a same-week appointment still gets modern care.

iTero Lumina: the scanner that retired impressions

The Lumina is the newest generation of digital scanner — a wider capture field than earlier iTeros, which means faster scans that are noticeably easier for kids and for anyone with a gag reflex. A wand pass replaces the impression tray for Invisalign, crowns, bridges, night guards, and implant restorations.

It also produces the part patients like best: projections. For Invisalign cases you see a simulation of your finished smile before committing — an informed yes instead of an act of faith.

Laser therapy, digital records, and the mercury-free standard

Laser therapy gives gum treatment a gentler instrument: diseased tissue targeted without scalpel or sutures, with faster healing — detailed on the gum disease page. Digital X-rays and records mean lower radiation than film, images on a screen you can actually see, and a history that follows you visit to visit.

And a standard rather than a machine: this is a mercury-free practice. Fillings here are tooth-colored composite, bonded — the modern default, applied without exception.

Questions we hear in the chair

What makes the iTero Lumina different from other scanners?
It's the newest generation of Invisalign's scanner, with a wider field of view than earlier models — faster scans, fewer passes, easier on kids and gaggers. It has a full page under Invisalign.
Do digital X-rays mean less radiation?
Substantially less than traditional film, and we take them on the schedule your risk actually justifies rather than reflexively. You'll see every image, explained, on the screen.
What does mercury-free mean in practice?
No amalgam placed here — cavities are restored with bonded, tooth-colored composite. Existing metal fillings from your past aren't ripped out on principle; they're monitored honestly and replaced when they fail.
Is the technology why you can see me the same week?
It's half the answer — digital workflows are faster. The other half is capacity: 13 operatories and full-time doctors. Machines don't create appointments; scheduling philosophy does.
